Air purification systems for process air
Eliminate pollutants and improve air quality
By preventing the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), our process air purification systems increase occupational safety and environmental protection. With a degradation rate of over 99 %, our systems remove pollutants from the air and convert pollutants into a freely available heat flow. Our process air purification systems can be used in a wide range of industries.
The air purification systems from ETS Air Systems start where other technologies reach their limits – for the purification of process air, they offer a unique, patented concept with an unprecedented combination of maximum energy efficiency, an almost 100 % degradation rate, minimal life cycle costs, low maintenance and low investment costs.

Clean air for healthy and safe working conditions in industry
Our state-of-the-art air purification units for process air play a key role in ensuring clean and safe working conditions in industrial environments. They effectively remove pollutants, dust and dangerous particles from the air that are produced during industrial processes, thus ensuring a healthy working atmosphere. With our solutions, you not only protect the health of your employees, but also comply with strict environmental and safety regulations.
Processes and applications
Our systems for purifying process air are suitable for use in a wide range of different industries. You can find an overview of typical applications here, and further information here.
- Plastics processes (e.g. extrusion, injection molding, granulation, plastics production, finishing, processing)
- printing processes (e.g. 3D printing, packaging printing, advertising material printing)
- Laser processes (e.g. cutting, welding, sintering, additive manufacturing, lightweight construction, perforating, melting)
- Chemical and pharmaceutical processes (active ingredient production, dosing, crude oil and natural gas processing, synthesis processes, residual gases)
- drying and sintering processes (e.g. wood, ceramics, natural materials, electrical engineering)
- food production (e.g. frying, baking, roasting processes)
- Surface treatment (e.g. cleaning, coating, disinfection, painting)
- Textile processing and packaging (e.g. fabrics, paper, cardboard, foils)
Degradable pollutants
Our process air purification systems can eliminate numerous pollutants and odors. A customer-specific design of the catalyst and components enables even further optimization for the pollutants present on site in the exhaust air stream.
- VOC: The main task of IVOC‑X systems is the reduction of gaseous and vaporized pollutants, the volatile organic compounds (VOCs). VOCs are dangerous for both health and the environment.
- CO2: The high efficiency of our technology also helps to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Our systems therefore make an important contribution to environmental protection.
- NOX: Due to the low operating temperature thanks to catalysts, no additional NOX emissions are produced from the air during the combustion process. Electrical operation means that no byproducts can be produced from gas burners. Selective catalytic reduction also actively converts NOX into harmless nitrogen.
Examples of typical degradable pollutants
- Monomers, butadiene, plasticizers (plastics production and processing)
- Methanol, ethanol, other solvents (cleaning, disinfection, paints, varnishes)
- Formaldehyde, adhesives, epoxies (furniture production, painting, gluing, biochemical processes)
- Carbon monoxide, hydrogen (combustion, roasting, chemical processes)
- Benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (polymer processing, petroleum and natural gas processing)
